Minimal Invasive Surgery

Dr Wilcox does minimal invasive surgery through smaller incisions.

A minimally invasive surgery has the advantages of:

  • Less Pain
  • Less Tissue Trauma
  • Quicker recovery
  • Lower incidence of post-surgical complications

Tattoo

All female cats and female dogs receive a small blue tattoo near the incision line.
(Owners can opt out, but because most incisions are small, this says yes, I was spayed!)

This is a universally recognized tattoo that identifies that your pet has been spayed or neutered.

Tattoos are generally not placed on male cats or dogs.

  • Pets cannot tell the veterinarian that they have been fixed.
  • A tattoo prevents many pets from undergoing surgery for a second time.
  • There is no additional fee for a blue-line tattoo.
